In the mood for a sweet treat after dinner? Sugar Land has a variety of ice cream shops for an after-dinner treat. Start your Saturday with coffee at BlendIn Coffee Club! Savor one of their specialty coffees and small pastries in their modern space while taking in the morning sun through their floor-to-ceiling windows. Have a weakness for caffeine? Then you’ll have to hit up our top coffee shops in Sugar Land during your trip. In town with younger children? Hop on over to the Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center which promises a day of family-friendly fun! Let your littles wander around Kidtropolis, a mini city full of pretend-play opportunities to work as a veterinarian, bank clerk, paramedic and more! The older kids can hang out in the ‘How Does It Work’ area and let them boggle their minds with their own science questions and research. Be ready for a day full of hands-on activities and play. For an exciting addition to your night, catch a show at Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land a state-of-the-art performance venue. It was named Best of Houston® Large Venues in 2019 and 2020 by the Houston Press and has an impressive rotation of acts like Chris Rock, Alicia Keys, Dancing with the Stars Tour, Maluma, Timbiriche and Santana. Looking for dinner after the show? La Tapatia Mexican Restaurant is open till midnight on show days at the Smart Financial Center at Sugar Land and is only minutes away. Enjoy their tableside guacamole, fresh-made tortillas and hearty Tex-Mex dishes like fajitas, taco and enchiladas. Sugarl Land Parks

Start your day with a delicious meal at one of our top brunch spots in Sugar Land. Jupiter Pizza and Waffles offers a twist on a breakfast staple: the Fried Chicken and Belgian Waffles dish. If a savory breakfast is more up your alley, the Club Waffle with grilled chicken, smoked bacon, mozzarella and arugula will make you very happy.

After enjoying your southern feast, explore Cullinan Park and Conservancy, one of Sugar Land’s biggest parks in Houston. Its 754-acre of parkland are suitable for hiking, birdwatching and getting in touch with nature (there are alligator sightings!). The park also features an observation tower, boardwalk, educational signage and trails. Hitting the trails will make you hungry and you can't leave without trying one of our Vietnamese restaurants. Pho Ben has a variety of their signature Banh Mi sandwiches made with either seared pork, beef or chicken and topped with crunchy and fresh ingredients like  shredded carrots, cucumbers and jalapenos in a warm toasted french bread.
