Sweetwater Country Club, established in the early 1980s, holds a unique place in golf history. Originally envisioned as a home for the Ladies Professional Golf Association, the Roger Packard-designed course opened its first nine holes in 1982. They have hosted the prestigious LPGA Hall of Fame Golf Classic in 1985 and 1986, where legends Nancy Lopez and Amy Alcott claimed victory.
