A collaborative vision between the City of Sugar Land and Planned Community Developers (PCD) resulted in the 2003 opening of Sugar Land Town Square, a landmark downtown destination. This hub, featuring retail, office, residential, and hotel spaces, has transformed Sugar Land into a vibrant, walkable community. The central plaza, a key feature, hosts numerous citywide events. This project exemplifies successful public/private partnership between the City of Sugar Land, Fort Bend County, Fort Bend County Levee Improvement District Number 2, and Lionstone Investments.
