Carlos Vives is a Colombian icon with over 20 million records sold, billions of streams, and a 30-year career that revolutionized Latin music by blending traditional vallenato with pop and rock. He’s earned 18 Latin Grammy® Awards, 2 Grammy® Awards, and was named Latin Grammy® Person of the Year in 2024. In 2023, he released the Grammy®-nominated Escalona: Nunca Se Había Grabado Así, and collaborated with Juanes on Las Mujeres. His El Tour de los 30 sold out over 20 shows, culminating in a historic concert in Bogotá.

Vives was inducted into the Billboard Latin Music Hall of Fame in 2020 and named a Premios Juventud “Agent of Change” in 2025. He also contributed to Telemundo’s 2026 World Cup anthem Somos Más. Beyond music, he founded Tras La Perla for sustainable development and the Río Grande Music School to nurture Colombian culture. He owns Cumbia House, a cultural venue in Colombia, and continues to inspire with his motto: “united in diversity.”
