Family Fun in Sugar Land

Between school and busy schedules, spending quality family time together may be challenging, but in Sugar Land, it's easy! With most of Sugar Land's attractions, retail and dining destinations within a 10 minute drive of each other, you spend less time in the car and more time having fun!

At the Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land, dig for prehistoric fossils at the Dig Pit, blast away to outer space at the Space Science exhibit or discover the mysteries of Earth throughout the museum. This gem of the Houston Museum of Natural Science family is perfect for a day of exploration.

Kids can enjoy some hands-on fun at the Fort Bend Children's Discovery Center located in historic Sugar Land. There, visitors can participate in six highly immersive exhibits, including Kidtropolis, where visitors can explore the city and take roles at one of the local businesses, including the market, diner and bank. Visitors can even let their imaginations soar at the Dragons and Fairies exhibit which follows the culture and traditions of Vietnam using five traditional Vietnamese folktales to engage children and their families.

How about some good old-fashioned competitive fun? Sugar Land boasts a wide selection of parks where families can play mock pick up games of soccer, softball, disc-golf and more! Visitors can also try out "cool" indoor excitement at Sugar Land Ice and Sports where having fun is a breeze. Lace up those skates and enjoy this winter activity all year-long. Last, but not least, head over to Constellation Field to watch America’s favorite pastime with the 2016 Atlantic League Champions, the Sugar Land Skeeters. Play ball!
